It's JACK--er--CAPTAIN JACK! :D

Oh my goodness this took so long to do. I was browsing Pirates fanart on DA when I saw a vector drawing of Jack ([link] <--drawing done by solgas) that inspired me to try my own. xP This was probably a lot more detailed than it needed to be, but it was fun.

I can't get over that the patch of background under the top part of the wheel looks like a car. 8D

This picture had so many pretty colors to redo, and the fact that it was Jack kept me interested in it. If it had been something else I probably wouldn't have bothered to be this detailed. My brother had told me a long while back when I was working on another drawing (using the paintbrush... xD; ) that the Pen Tool was much easier to use for smooth lines, and he told me I should start using it. But it looked so hard, so I didn't take his advice. But now I have! XD You can be happy now. I <3 the Pen Tool.

You may NOT redistribute, copy, or trace this. If you want to use it as a reference, that's fine, but I'd appreciate it if you told me. The real photo: [link] not taken by me, is copyright to whoever did. =3

Jack Sparrow is (c) Disney.
Artwork is (c) me.
Photo is (c) the taker.

Please tell me what you think! =D Also, I'm a little fuzzy on what might be considered Art Theft on DA. Since I used the Pen Tool to trace the lines, I'm not certain. If this violates that in any way, please tell me, and I'll gladly take it down. *nodnod*

Done on Fireworks MX 2004.

Whoaaa! Very nice. =]]

What exactly is a vector drawing?
:iconwindyskittles:
Well, I'm kinda fuzzy on the actual stuff. It's the use of shapes, lines, curves, etc to represent an image. I used the tool to draw shapes around colors. There aren't any actual outlines. =3 And when you magnify it it still looks good. (if you did that with a normal drawing it would look like a smudge. XD)

Thank you! =D HE ROCKS.

From what I've gathered it's the use of shapes, lines, curves, etc to represent an image. I used the tool to draw shapes around colors. There aren't any actual outlines. And when you magnify it it still looks good. (if you did that with a normal drawing it would look like a pixel-smudge.) Otherwise I'm not sure what the difference is. ^^ *is new at this*

I'm glad you liked it. :D

I've had a little practice. *ducks* I have a few pieces of advice my brother pointed out that I need to work on. :3 Yay! I saw that! I'm so happy you have it. The third movie is one of my favorites of the three. @_@ I loves it.

:/ i don like the third movie as much as the 1rst, which was by far the best one, but i like it alot more than the second one, which was not that good.
